General information​

Information on this website is general in nature and has been prepared without taking into account your personal objectives, financial situation or needs.

Before acting on any information, you should consider whether it is appropriate for your circumstances and seek personal financial advice.

 

The advice we provide​

Where we provide personal financial advice that considers your objectives, financial situation and needs, you will generally receive a Statement of Advice (SoA) or, where appropriate, a Record of Advice (RoA).

These documents set out:

• the scope of the advice provided

• the recommendations made

• the basis on which the advice is given

• any relevant fees, commissions or associations

 

If we recommend the acquisition of a financial product, you will also be provided with the relevant Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) to assist you in making an informed decision.

 

You may request a copy of any Record of Advice we prepare for you at any time up to seven years from the date the advice is provided.

Adviser responsibility

Financial advice is provided by authorised representatives of HPAdvisory Pty Ltd, acting on behalf of NewCo Licensee Pty Ltd, which is responsible for the financial services and advice provided.

Fees and remuneration

Most clients pay an agreed advice fee, confirmed prior to work commencing. Fees are based on the scope and complexity of the advice provided.

Where insurance advice is provided:

• HPAdvisory charges an advice fee

• any first‑year insurance commissions received are rebated to clients

 

Where HPAdvisory takes over as adviser on an existing insurance policy, ongoing commission may be received. In some cases, these ongoing commissions cannot be reduced to zero. Full details are disclosed in relevant advice documentation and product information.

 

Not independent

NewCo Licensee Pty Ltd may receive commissions in relation to life insurance products.

As a result, we do not describe our services as independent, impartial, or unbiased for the purposes of section 923A of the Corporations Act.

 

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your personal information and handling it in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

 

We maintain records of your personal profile, financial circumstances, and any advice provided. You may request access to your personal information at any time.

Complaints and dispute resolution

If you have a concern or complaint about our services, we encourage you to raise it with your adviser in the first instance so we can seek to resolve the matter promptly.

If your complaint remains unresolved, you may lodge a complaint with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA). This service is provided at no cost to you.

AFCA is an independent external dispute resolution scheme of which NewCo Licensee Pty Ltd is a member (AFCA membership number 112718).
